Leading Ivy+ universities back to academic excellence.

Monitor. Report. Reform.

America’s Leading Universities Need a Return to Academic Excellence.

In an era where academic institutions are under siege, our universities, longstanding bastions of intellectual heritage, face an unprecedented challenge. The 21st century has witnessed an international assault on the principles that form the bedrock of our free society, with attempts to unravel its rich history and values.

Amidst this existential threat, alumni, donors, and faculty are coming together across university lines driven by a shared commitment to the preservation of open inquiry and academic excellence. Together, we recognize the imperative of holding our universities accountable while advocating for a return to merit-based academic excellence.

The Ivy Excellence Initiative, born out of necessity, is committed to exerting continuous pressure and implementing thorough oversight and accountability measures for America’s leading universities.

Ivy Plus Universities

  • Cornell University

“I would found an institution where any person can find instruction in any study.” Ezra Cornell, 1868

IEI has had support from alternative alumni groups from Cornell since its inception. Their donors, dissident faculty, and alumni network have grown increasingly frustrated with Cornell leadership straying away from the intended purpose of the school.

  • Harvard University

“The mission of Harvard College is to educate the citizens and citizen-leaders for our society.” Harvard Mission Statement

With a growing network of alumni groups involved with IEI, Harvard is in a unique position to create a more suitable academic environment with the help of alumni and dissident faculty.

  • Princeton University

Chartered in 1746 and the fourth-oldest college in the United States, Princeton has earned its spot as one of the United States most prestigious Universities.

This is why alumni groups, donors, faculty, and students want to ensure its longterm success without getting involved in the political rot that has infected many colleges.

  • Yale University

Chartered in 1701, Yale traces its beginnings to “An Act for Liberty to Erect a Collegiate School.”

Now, students, alumni, donors, and dissident faculty want to have a say about the direction the school is going. A new era of educational liberty is in progress.

  • Dartmouth College

Established in 1769, Dartmouth has earned its recognition as one of the most prestigious universities in the nation.

Alumni groups are now working to keep this honor as free speech is under attack on campus.

  • Columbia University

After hosting a segregated graduation ceremony in 2021, how can Columbia University regain the trust from its alumni, faculty, donors, and current students that discrimination will not be tolerated on campus?

  • Stanford University

Stanford has recently faced backlash from its alumni, students, and donors as they have fired professors for not conforming to “woke” policies, established the “elimination of harmful language initiative,” and have censored students for daring to think for themselves.

    Is this academic excellence?

  • Massachusetts Institute of Technology

MIT has been at the forefront of countless technological innovations. How will their academic shift away from merit-based admissions and hiring affect their educational results overall?

Alumni and current students are frustrated with the academic environment being created.

  • University of Pennsylvania

UPenn leadership has a large task ahead of them. How can they convey to their network that they do not condone the antisemitism that is running rampant across their campus?

UPenn risks losing more financial assets as donors are pulling their support, but what about their academic reputation?

  • Brown University

Founded in 1764, Brown has consistently served as a foundational pillar in American education.

It is clear that students, alumni, donors, and dissident faculty are ready to hold Brown accountable.
