IEI works closely with alumni and faculty at our partner universities to monitor campus conditions and harmful practices or conditions at the target university.

We work with media outlets and thought leaders to provide the public accountability that has proven effective with university administrations. IEI provides digital and communications support to alumni, faculty, and donors examining and exposing threats to open inquiry while developing effective countermeasures.

IEI supports participant alumni groups in investigations and serves as an organizer in civic and governmental affairs in order to defend and promote open inquiry on campus.
